DCOH Hotels – HVAC & Electrical Maintenance

Three Darwin hotels under the DCOH / Time Hospitality banner relied on TEC for fast-turnaround air conditioning and electrical maintenance. TEC kept rooms guest-ready with same-day breakdown servicing, air conditioning hydro-cleaning and repairs, and electrical fault-finding, all built around the reality that a vacated room needed to be back on the market within hours.

The Challenge DCOH’s Darwin hotel portfolio (Courtyard by Marriott Darwin, Novotel Darwin CBD and Frontier Hotel Darwin) needed a maintenance partner who could turn rooms around fast. In hospitality, a broken air conditioner or a faulty power point keeps a room off the market, and every hour it’s out of action is lost revenue. The properties needed servicing and repairs that didn’t cut corners, but also didn’t need to be complex, just quick, reliable and available on demand.

What We Did TEC provided ongoing air conditioning and electrical servicing across all three properties, including hydro-cleaning, fan motor replacement and like-for-like air conditioner repairs, alongside electrical installation work, light and power point repairs, and routine electrical testing. At Novotel Darwin CBD, TEC delivered electrical and air conditioning breakdown maintenance to keep systems running between scheduled visits. As soon as a room was vacated, TEC’s service team was in to service the air conditioning and fix any electrical faults, with parts kept on standby so the room could be cleaned, serviced and rebooked the same day.

The Outcome DCOH’s hotels got high-speed, low-cost maintenance that kept rooms available and guests moving through without disruption. The standby parts and rapid-response model meant rooms were turned around within hours rather than days, supporting the group’s ability to keep occupancy and revenue moving across all three properties.
